In the period the forum was down, we tested this kinda, I wasn't off the mark on the first bit. Needs to be an autox so we can dodge some cones.

Also, I enabled the electric aux heater in the car as well. I explained this at the meet last night, but none of the PDI documentation that VW sent to the US market contained instructions to enable the aux heater, so it was disabled on EVERY Mk V (and possibly Mk VI from what I've heard from buddies), resulting in 10 minute drives before heat was produced in the cabin. 2 minutes with a VAGCOM cable yielded near-instant heat. WIN! I'll have to spend more time in the software to see what all other options or settings I can mess with that the HUD doesn't let me touch.

It wasn't today but this past weekend I sat in my car in my garage and pouted that there was salt on the ground

 

i had a beer in my garage tonight and looked at the 86 for a bit

 

I sat at my desk, closed my eyes, stomped my left foot, and pumped my right arm back and forth.

i put my car in the air the other day, patrick swooped through and helped me by making some mounts for the battary box and getting the switch panel in, it should be ready to go back on the ground after this week!

 

Took a ride in a convertible. Oh how I missed it

 

Putting more miles on the daily. Gonna go home and start tearing out the interior of the Comanche

 

Removed all the unnecessary accessories and retained it's stock look.
