Washed and waxed it. Took a long time but well worth it.

 

Not my car but I got to drift an S14 today

 

Got it all washed (again) and drove it to Cars and Coffee. And finally hit 1,000 miles on it

 

Oil change, New air filter, remove the fog light assemblies for some work.

Turned into a several hour job because the Turbo Inlet tube came off the turbo and in true MS3 fashion, there is no room to fix said issue besides removing a crap top of stuff to get to it Erik bled.... alot... and swore... alot... but we got it back together and the car is happier for it

 

Sounds like a cake walk.

It's been 28k, so I was a bit rusty, could likely have cut the job time in half. Found some new shortcuts as well, and will be deleting some PITA bolts, brackets, etc before things go back together, so if it DOES need to be done again, it will be a cake walk.

That said, my math puts the blame squarely on the bad #3 injector that I recently replaced. It flowed 10% less than the other two, which puts the AFRs on that cylinder on true E85 at 14:1 WOT, higher than that on spool-up. Sucks doing the job again, but at the end of the day knowing for sure what the cause has been and knowing it's fixed is a great feeling.

 

Found out that my little old boosted lesabre is a hell of a lot faster than stock. Was cruising on the highway and noticed some kid in a LeSabre trying play, so I buried it and let off about 10 seconds later and well into the triple digits. ...whoops.

2" long-tube headers installed, cat and resonator delete. It sounds like an actual muscle car now.

I ordered a muffler strap today.... I had forgotten it was missing til a buddy chased me down on the road and said he recognized my car cause the muffler was flopping around everywhere.... :/ how embarrassing!!!

Also tonight apparently I am getting an SAFC installed by my buddy for my bday. I will look like a dog doing science trying to figure out how to use it right...
