Hello, I've been attending the Wednesday night meets out at Sonic for the past, oh, 3 weeks now. I didn't even know what it was. Friends and family suggested heading over.

I purchased my new-to-me car, which is a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta about 3 weeks ago. The silver one, with the peeling clear-coat and black/rust steel wheels. You've probably seen and wondered how the thing was running. I'm not sure, but I believe it sucks in air + gas and makes explosions when those two are mixed with a spark.

Prior to that, I lived in St. Paul over by the fairgrounds. Had a 1995 Honda Accord LX Coupe, which I miss dearly and hope to own another at some point. My first car was a 1992 Honda Civic LX 4-door. One couldn't have a better beginner car... Well, maybe a Volvo... Uh, my parents owned a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan which I did maintenance and repairs. I actually didn't mind having to drive the thing after mom got sick and couldn't drive, it just...the motor was poorly designed.

I picked up alot of random knowledge from my friends, family, service manuals, wikipedia, youtube, asking lots of questions, and dumb luck. In my mind, learning about how cars, and all machines, is truly a life-long thing.

Outside of cars, I'm into all kinds of motorbikes(1978 Yamaha XS400 was my beginner bike, both riding and working on, plan to get another bike next summer), computer hardware, music, video games, philosophy, and a bunch more stuff.

Oh, I'm originally from Duluth. Yes, there are lots of boats. No, we do not call them boots, but we do say "you betcha" alot.

Jeremy (I also respond to Frog or Germ)
