Items from Porkys will go up for auction Monday night. On Sunday, long lines wrapped around the building as people waited patiently for one last meal at the famous drive-up restaurant. Porkys has become a Saint Paul landmark, serving burgers to people for 58-years. Owner Tryg Truelson tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS his business suffered a 20 percent loss in each of the last three years, leading him to the decision to close the doors. Truelson says closing wasn't an easy decision. He says the sight is going to be sold to neighboring Episcopal Homes. Truelson says he's received offers from buyers to purchase the building and move it."
