2012 Events - What do you guys want to see?

I'm trying to figure some events we can do as a group. Somethings we can do no matter how many people show up and other things we need a guaranteed amount of people.

Please throw out your ideas and I'll start making a list!

Spring Cruise - Lets get lost
Will happen no matter what

Fall Cruise - Colors Cruise already set up
- Will happen no matter what

Picnic - Minnetonka somewhere
- Will happen no matter what

Tint Day - Tint Pros
- Need a guaranteed amount of people

Install day - First Gear Garage?
- Need a guaranteed amount of people

Alignment day - Stellar or Bobby & Steve's?
- Need a guaranteed amount of people

Dyno Day - MAP? Who else?
- Need a guaranteed amount of people


What else? I have no issues joining with other groups to meet numbers if we need to

 

Calhoune beach has a killer rack for alignments, ANY car can fit on it I wonder if they would be in or a group day?

 

You might want to check with Stellar Auto (In MAP's old space) for alignments - we just did one with them on another forum and they did a fantastic job and gave us a great rate, they can get pretty much anything on their rack from what they were saying and their hospitality was awesome (use of grill, chairs and table, very friendly chatting about cars and shit while they weren't working, etc.).

If it's a Dyno Day @ MAP and it's sometime this spring yet I'd probably be down, don't want to wait too long to get it done, though.

 

I plan on probably contacting a few places to see if they are willing to do a group day (maybe with discount) and seeing how many people they need in order to do such a thing.

Tom said awesome things about Stellar and MAP we know does dyno days for groups. Looking for another suggestion on that one too.

I'd show up for everything provided I can get the time off.

 

I think if we plan to do the spring cruise to Taylor's Falls again, then we should take HWY 36 east to Stillwater and then MN HWY 95...it goes along the St Croix River and is pretty fun to drive and more scenic then 35

 

^ Just a note for cruises, E85 stops need to be figured in, which means stations need to be called before routes are finalized. I have no problem carrying 10 extra gallons with me, but with spirited driving not much more than 380 miles are going to happen on 24 gallons.

 

RS Motors has done dyno days in the past. I know Ronnie pretty well, I'm sure he'd be up for it. Maybe even an install day, too.

 

I'd be interested in this Spaz I know, you know RS pretty well too. We'll have to find out what numbers he would be wanting in order to do a dyno day.

 

If he comes to a meet someone might remember to ask him. I've seen him three times in the past week and forgot to ask him two questions.
