so I am thinking about getting a welder, of some kind I am totally lost and do not know what I should be getting. what I am looking to weld exhaust (Mild steel) seat brackets sheet medal what I am not looking to do the big one is that I can not change the electricity in my garage ( I think but I could check ) I do not see my self building any cages ( I do not think that is a good idea at this point) Aluminum and stainless are things that I am not going to be using any time soon I am cool with new or used
We have had good luck with Welders from Harbor Freight. We have an Arc that we are getting rid of and a Flux now. Erik uses the Flux a ton with the Miata project. I don't know a ton about them myself but we have the same thing as you. Not wanting to change the outlets means you get a certain welder or get a generator for it to run off of.
