My current setup using MMH1 projectors with 5k H1 bulbs http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=3181 Ending with TSX Projectors, 5k D2S bulbs and possibly switching out the fresnel lens for clear ones. Orange plastic piece is the stock projector bracket, metal plates are the adapters. I'd say rotation is pretty good based on my 'technical' test shots tonight with a flashlight and random stuff to level the headlight as much as possible. Take these with a grain of salt. First 2 shots are farther away without the lens on These 2 are closer (to the wall) and with the lens on Will try to get this headlight on the car by the end of the weekend to get some legit shots. Almost hit a snag tonight, forgot I ordered the 90* amp to D2S connectors and hadn't bought the straight ones yet. Luckily I was able to fit the 90* on (they definitely won't fit with the dustcap in place) to at least do a test run on the setup. Scavenged this connection wire from an H1 kit I had laying around (this was the stock power/ground to ballast power/ground issue I was talking about earlier Ryan)
This is TSX only ~10FT away unaimed. This is TSX left (drivers) unaimed and MMH1 right (passenger) aimed. Need to paint the cutoff shield to get rid of the flare above the cutoff and re seat the bulb to get the hot spot/cutoff correct. Should have all that done at the same time I install the clear lens.
Car is ~18ft from the wall and camera is ~20ft from the wall. TSX MH1 Both Thanks for the pics Joelle, now to figure out why the TSX isn't as sharp/clear as the MH1.
