What did you do with your car today?

Yessir!

Car was down for a week total, but she got me to and from work today with a couple other stops without issue. There's no obvious leaks, the oil drain pipe might be leaking at the pan, we'll see. There's still too much residual oil and coolant all over everything, even after attacking the front half of the engine bay with brake cleaner 4 or 5 times so far. At least I haven't seen any fresh drips hanging on anything so I'm assuming it's good.

The rebuild feels great, spool is nice and snappy, and boost holding appears better in the top end. As for oil consumption, I'm not sure if it was the turbo yet, but I haven't seen any smoke so far. Time will tell.

 

I put it up on a tow truck to take to the body shop.



My bro was driving with my mom and someone failed to yield going into a roundabout.

Winter tires are on, and oh god, have I had fun on them so far.

 

new snow tires on deathracer and we started re assembling the 86 last wednesday night

 

So I can has the old tires off the death racer now?

Put winter tires on now my car handles all funny like as Spaz Jon Bry and Karl can attest too. :scratches head:
