celica in 4x4 territory

hey guys i just moved to minnesota yesterday with a friend live in the brainerd area

i have 1991 Toyota Celica ST "superturd"
1.6 4A-FE
has no mods except a thrush turbo muffler and a leaking flex pipe
i have plans to get some new struts and some sleeves lower it
get a 4A-GZE

swap my 5th gen trailing arms for 6th gen trailing arms maybe get a 7th gen shifter
get a GT bumper with OEM fogs and get some 8k hids for headlights an 3k for the OEM fogs when i get this all set up should be a nice car

but i love my little AT180

hopefully find some other import guys up in the brainerd area would be nice since i relocated and have to start all over

Welcome! Where did you relocate from?

Kris is right on. 4300 is optimal and after 5-6k you start to lose light. I tried some 8k bulbs and did not like the look.

 

i had 55w 6k in my grand prix which washed out and relocated from osceola wi.

 

Right on. Im running 35w. So, that's a factor as well.

 

i decided to do 35w cause they won't wash out the color of the HIDs.

 

Who did you end up going through for the HID kit?

 

DDMtuning cause they are priced well and get a lifetime warranty on them everywhere else i looked didn't offer that. and i had the ones in my grand prix for about a year and they never flickered had no issues what so ever with them.

 

Superturd.... Does your car say that? If so I feel like I have seen it before.

it doesnt say that. but you probably have seen it if you have gone to rainbow a couple weekends ago

 

and coming out to sonic would require a 3hr drive...im not in the cities
