Hi there all, I was googling for some Miata related stuff and came across this site, looked like a decent startup so I figured I'd pop in and say 'Hi'.. I'm a member on almost every Minnesota Car Club and pretty active in the community. Currently living in Burnsville so I hope to see some of you around

I will be the first to say Welcome! We are a brand new forum, but hoping to grow bigger as the season goes along. Come on down to Sonic on Wednesday some time. We should be there, we might be testing raining weather tonight seeing the forecast.

Blue is my FAVORITE Miata color! And it is one you just don't see often enough.

That car looks familiar too. I don't suppose you frequent Cars & Coffee?

 

I was in spectator parking at the last cars and coffee (but for some reason a stock maita with a massive dent in the bumper got in).

If I have time I might swing by Sonic some time..

this month was also my first 'rejection'. rolled in at 8:05, didn't even get asked, just told to park in hell AKA spectator field.

 

it's amazing that some of the cars get in there vs some of the cars that are in the trenches... my car barely made it out of there :/

I think they were also rejecting cars when their 'areas' for filled up. Although I think we got there after Kris and still got in with the Subaru

No, that might have been Taras, who has one a lot like mine but with 3000lb wheels and turbo lol

 

Updates:

Stickerbombed the rear of the car... decided I hated it. Removing this week and having the rear finish panel shaved and painted.

Also will be putting my factory Scion xA 6disk stereo in the car. Does require some trimming but it shouldn't be too hard to get everything to fit right

Decided on what I'm doing this winter with the car. 1.8 swap and very very possibly Turbo if I can find a better paying job.

haha, but my toolbox is filled with tools, dereks were filled with Viper parts and random stuff

 

I want to know how high this garage ceiling is and what lift that is... so I know if I can do this in mine We have a fiat and and Miata that could go UP and make room for more cars during the winter

 

Thats a nice setup I wish I had a lift and a house/garage to put one in...
